The Beehive : I have worked with the beehive design agency that is through Edinboro university and have worked with them during my design practicum class. This allowed me to work on two different teams and work on real client projects. The two clients that I got to work with were " Chatting with Sonya" and "Lakeside Bagel", both of these clients are businesses located in Edinboro, Pa. For the chatting with Sonya group we created a new logo and social media elements such as profile pictures, banners, and frames for posts. The Lakeside bagel group and I created a lot of different elements like a new logo, business cards, signs , window cling, menu , menu boards, coffee sleeves, and t-shirts.
Freelance Design work : I created a logo for a small business called " Danika's Soapistry" and also created a logo and business cards for "Bobby D's " and business cards for " bubbles and brushes. I love being able to help small businesses with making their brands stand out.
Hello, my name is Emily Moratti and I'm a graphic design from Vandergrift Pennsylvania. Growing up I was always doing creative things like drawing, painting, and other crafts. I have always been interested in art and it brings me such comfort to create. Throughout my journey at Edinboro University I have learned so much about myself as a designer and so many different skills too. My favorite areas of design are branding and packing design, as I love being able to print and be able to physically hold what I have designed. When it comes to my work, I get a lot of inspiration from nature and animals as the environment is one of my passions. I also have a love of illustration as I enjoy incorporating it in my work whenever I can. Other than design, I also have an interest in illustration, printmaking, and photography. So, I would have to say that my overall design style is simple, often illustrated, and playful.
